I reached out to Nessy purely because her beauty skills are on point and her hair is on fleek. I see so much much potential in her as a person and her brand. I just had to know more. Coco: How would your best friend describe you as a person?

Nessy: Well one of my best friend’s Nathalie actually answered this one and she said: I would describe Nessy as a charismatic individual but an amazing mother, best friend, daughter and sister. She’s extremely selfless and will put others before herself. Nessy is an optimistic and driven individual that whatever she puts her mind and heart to, she will achieve. Her warm welcoming smile, makeup and hair skills along with her fashionista wardrobe is what attracts people most. Nessy has such a beautiful soul and if you get to meet her up close and personal, you would have a lifetime friend.

Coco: How old are you?

Nessy: I’m 26 but most people think I’m younger.

Coco: You’re absolutely beautiful, what is your ethnicity?

Nessy: Thank You. I am Spanish, Mexican to be exact.

Coco: What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time for fun?

Nessy: My favorite things to do would be playing with my 3-year-old son and teaching him new things, making my makeup videos of course and also doing yoga. It’s really important to me to find some me time and nothing can relax me more than yoga along with the beautiful background music.

Coco: You literally have just started making YouTube videos, what is it that you think you are doing that is contributing to your rapidly growing subscriptions?

Nessy: Well my YouTube channel Armani Amor (Armani is my son’s name) was made to help lift myself out of a dark place in my life. My son is a constant reminder to keep going so on my channel I do what I love most, which is makeup. I know I just started my channel but it’s a place where I’m starting to feel more like myself. I think just being myself and putting out great content is what is helping me gain my subscribers.

Coco: When did you first realize that you wanted to be a Makeup Artist and how did you begin your career?

Nessy: Well I first realized quickly when I was a freshman in high school. I started seeing a more creative side to me so once I graduated high school I decided to go to beauty school and became a licensed Cosmetologist. Although they did not focus much on makeup it did expand my creativity to hair and nails. But still not satisfied, I continued on my journey of makeup and started doing weddings, quinceaneras, engagements, whatever I could get my hands on and that’s where my love for makeup started to get recognized.

Coco: What is a girls’ must have beauty product?

Nessy: Hmm, this is a hard one haha. I can’t just pick one but I think must haves would have to be a great brow product! Can’t go wrong with that. Also a few good brushes are very important to apply a flawless application. Last but not least would be a great highlighter! Because let’s face it, a great highlighter is everything now a days!

Coco: What’s your favorite beauty look?

Nessy: I’m very versatile when it comes to the looks I create however, if I’m being honest I love looks that are a little more edgy and bold. Even if I did a simple makeup look, I would prefer a nice bold ombre lip with it!

Coco: What advise can you give to aspiring Makeup Artists?

Nessy: I would say to be yourself is most important. Embrace your creative side and don’t worry about what others think, or how many “likes” you may have on social media. There will always be people who don’t like a certain way you do something, and that’s ok. You don’t have to do the typical looks everyone goes for, that’s what makes you unique and you are stepping out of your comfort zone. Never give up! You can start a new trend without even realizing it.

Coco: Now for fun… Kill, Marry, Fuck… Drake, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber.

Nessy: If I answer this will they read it? Haha. But I would hands down marry Drizzy Drake! He knows a way to a woman’s heart.. Now for the last 2 it’s hard to say, I think I would fuck Chris Brown but I wouldn’t want to kill Justin Bieber he’s still a cutie too.
