Game Plan For Success

1

1) Start YOUNG!

Basically, you should of started yesterday. Forget how old you are, just start.

2) Create Daily Rituals for Success

People are always saying, “The Early Bird gets the worm.” Well, I don’t like worms. Do what’s right for you. I’ve realised that I’m more creative at night, therefore, I sleep majority of my day and do all my business at night. As long as you are working and being productive, that’s all that matters. It’s 24 hours in a day and I complain that I need at least another 10 in the day. I rarely sleep. Writing in my planner and crossing things off keeps me very organized and on the right path of success.

3) Work Your A** Off

Listen, we all have the same 24 hours in the day, so make no excuses. The only difference between myself and Jenifer Lopez is that she works harder than me. That’s the only difference between myself and anyone who is super successful and wealthy. So what have I been doing… WORKING HARDER! That’s the only difference between you and Beyonce. Obviously, they may be other factors but you get the gist. Figure out what you want to do and don’t stop.

4) Failure is Temporary

I’m not a natural winner, nor am I a competitive person. I’m pretty nonchalant and chill about a lot of things, hence things don’t get to me. Like failure. It’s a part of life. You win some, you lose some. When you fail, don’t let it get you to upset because it’s all in your mind. “Mind Over Matter” is a major key! I always embrace everything I am going through whether good or bad because  understand that everything is a learning experience and will only make me a better being.

5) Be Smart With Your Initial Success

When you get your first big check don’t blow it on the dumb shit. Be smart and keep investing in yourself and your craft. Take care of your needs first. Don’t go crazy and buy that bag that you want. Lord knows that’s hard. Of course, still treat yourself but like #5 reads, BE SMART.

6) Learn Along The Way

We are like Sway, we do not have the answers. lol. Everything we go through as humans is a learning experience to make us all better. It’s important to always keep an open mind and be eager and ready to learn.

7) Never Give Up!

Self Explanatory !!

  1. number 3 is a perpetuation of misconception about success. While success takes hard work the difference between successful people and those that don’t make is usually not determined by just working hard. Should think about changing it to ” Don’t just work hard, work smart”. Successful people figure out where their talent is and then try to maximize it while at the same time identifying their own weakness and trying to improve on it. I grew up in neighborhoods where almost everyone work 2-3 jobs just to get by but all they did was just get by. I maximized my intellectual talents by going to college and graduate school and now make more working half of the month than my mom every did working 3 jobs. Hope this helps, I figured i would give you a bigger tip than few dollars i did the other night.
